What You Can Expect from Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice N4/N5?
This one-year course covers different disciplines of Engineering such as Building, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Structural Steel Detailing. The majority of these disciplines are typically carried out on computer, with Draughting software (AutoCAD 2D Software). Our classes are conducted via live streaming with experienced lecturers who you can easily contact for assistance with your questions.
How long is the course?
The duration of each level is THREE months; therefore, a TRIMESTER timetable is followed. Registration takes place in January, May, and August, enabling the successful student to accumulate THREE national certificates during the course of one year.
Who can study MDDOP at African Academy?
South Africans and Africans alike can enrol in our online draughting course. However, aspiring students must first see if they meet admission requirements.
Competitive pricing for the African continent
Our pricing is in line with industry standards but remains an affordable option for the penny-wise student. Keep in mind that commute costs are not needed with e-learning, saving you hugely! A full sum of R33 000 is required to complete this course, excluding software, books, and kits. R4 000 deposit is required to register for the course, and the balance can be paid in 10 equal instalments.
Admission requirements
Knowledge, comprehension and application of language. We recommend Mathematics/Maths Lit, Physical Science and Engineering Drawing at Matric level or equivalent. However, should you not have these, we have bridging courses for these subjects to equip you to succeed in this filed. These bridging courses are 3 months in duration.
